Call for Papers

The advent of Airline XML Integration Standards is evolving airline distribution. Airline connectivity is easier than ever before, but we must further innovate and evolve so the travel industry can continue its revolution. The Open AXIS Group is calling for your input to continue the growth and innovation of this new XML standard.

To submit, please begin by sending a proposal using the form below.

Once your proposal is received, it will be reviewed and prioritized by the Open AXIS Review Board. After this process is completed, the Review Board will advise the status of your proposal. If approved, you will be asked to complete a schema submission. Schema submissions are to include:

• Technical and Functional Supporting Information
• Proof of Concept
• Proposed Integration with the current Open AXIS Group XML Standard
• Any other requested information

Upon receipt of your schema submission the Review Board will then complete a technical review and deep dive analysis. After passing this review, Open AXIS will prepare a proposed schema enhancement and bring it to its members for a vote. With passage of the vote, the new schema will be integrated into the next annual release (or sooner).
